Amendment #68 to H4600

College ReEnrollment & Workforce Skills (CREWS) Initiative

Mr. Gentile of Sudbury moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-0000, by inserting after the words “accountability”, the following:

 

“provided further, that not less than $4,000,000 shall be expended for the department of higher education to launch and manage a state-wide coordinated strategy with data analytics, multi-channel marketing, live professional coaching and a platform-based user experience to re-enroll Massachusetts residents with some college and no credential into public higher education, apprenticeship and workforce training programs aligned with the needs of the Commonwealth” and in said item by striking out the figures “$4,083,511” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$8,083,511”.
