Amendment #727 to H4600

Opioid Recovery & Remediation Fund Advisory Council Membership

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Gifford of Wareham, Barrows of Mansfield and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Chapter 309 of the Acts of 2020 is hereby amended by striking out the words, ‘and 10 people to be appointed by the Massachusetts Municipal Association, Inc., who are officials employed by a city or town and who represent the diversity of the commonwealth’s cities and towns;’, and inserting in place thereof the following language:-

10 people to be appointed by the Massachusetts Municipal Association, Inc., who are officials employed by a city or town and who represent the diversity of the commonwealth’s cities and towns; and 2 individuals who represent community organizations or coalitions whose mission is to prevent youth substance abuse;”
