Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8324-0050, in line 1, by inserting after “departments” the following: “; provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to the Amherst Fire Department for the purchase of turnout gear and other equipment which protects the health and safety of Amherst firefighters”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$250,000”.
