Amendment #850 to H4600

Mr. Ashe of Longmeadow moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding at the end the following: “and provided further that not less than $75,000 be expended to Springfield Together, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, to fully develop and implement a 3 year elementary school pilot reading program with tutors for students and parents who need assistance with learning to read”, and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$175,000”.
