Koumantzelis Park ADA Compliance

Mr. Mom of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2810-0122, by inserting the following: “that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for Koumantzelis Park, located in the Acre section of the City of Lowell, for the purpose of making the park’s playground area compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act by adding poured-in-place rubber surfacing therefore making the playground more inclusive for users of all mobility levels,” and in said item by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “$175,000”.
