Amendment #9 to H4643

Vitiligo Commission

Mr. Consalvo of Boston moves to amend the amendment by adding the following section:

Section XXXX:

(a) There is hereby established the Vitiligo advisory commission consisting of the following members: 2 members of the state senate, or their designee, 2 members of the house of representatives, or their designee, 2 members appointed by the governor, and 1 member appointed by VITFriends, Vitiligo Support Group based in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston.

(b) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, not later than July 1, 2025, the commission shall conduct an analysis and issue a report evaluating the autoimmune disease Vitiligo, to make recommendations regarding health insurance coverage, healthcare costs, access to beneficial and innovative treatments, and mental health impacts of this disease.
