Real Estate Property Tax Abatements of Section 5, Chapter 59 of the general laws

Mr. Arciero of Westford moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

SECTION 1      Notwithstanding any general law, special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, any real estate abatement offered under section 5 of Chapter 59 of the general laws shall be doubled for an eligible recipient who is a Massachusetts veteran.
