Worcester Property Insurance Cancellation Repair Program

Ms. Keefe of Worcester moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in  item 7004-0082, in line 594, by inserting after "equity"  the following: "provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for the City of Worcester to support the completion of repairs to lower-income, owner-occupied homes in a timely fashion in order to mitigate the city's high rate of property insurance cancellations"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$25,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$25,500,000".
