Attainable housing in expensive communities

Representatives Fernandes of Falmouth and Peake of Provincetown move to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 7004-0081, in line 558, by inserting after "income" the following: "; provided further, that in municipalities with a median home sales price of 50 per cent or more above the state’s median home sales price, grants and loans to developers shall be used to facilitate production of affordable homeownership units for households earning up to 175 per cent of the area median income”;

and moves to further amend the bill in section 5, in line 807, by inserting after “income” the following: “or in municipalities with a median home sales price of 50 per cent or more above the state’s median home sales price, with annual incomes not exceeding 175 per cent of the area median income”;

and moves to further amend the bill in section 16, in line 1187, by inserting after “income” the following: “or in municipalities with a median home sales price of 50 per cent or more above the state’s median home sales price, with annual incomes not exceeding 175 per cent of the area median income”;

and moves to further amend the bill in section 19, in line 1412, by inserting after “income” the following: “or annual incomes not exceeding 175 per cent of the area median income in municipalities with a median home sales price of 50 per cent or more above the state’s median home sales price”;

and moves to further amend the bill in section 21, in line 1565, by inserting after “income” the following: “or annual income not exceeding 175 per cent of the area median income in municipalities with a median home sales price of 50 per cent or more above the state’s median home sales price”.
