Developing workforce housing on public higher education campuses pilot program

Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7004-0083 the following item:

"7004-xxxx   For a grant to be administered by the executive office of housing and livable communities, in consultation with the department of higher education, to be awarded for the purpose of developing and administering a demonstration pilot program to support the creation of workforce housing on public higher education campuses by to issuing public capital grants to public higher education institutions for design, construction, building, rehabilitation, repair, and other improvements to publicly-owned infrastructure or properties for the purpose of undertaking projects to develop and support public higher education workforce development housing. ............................................................................$10,000,000”
