Amendment #9 to H4707

Clean Energy and Climate Plan Alignment

Ms. Meschino of Hull moves to amend the bill by adding the following section: 

Section XX. All expenditures authorized by this chapter shall, to the extent feasible, prioritize alignment with the Massachusetts Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2050 and its emissions limits for 2030, 2040, and 2050 as well as prioritize compliance with Chapter 21N of the General Laws. The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities shall collaborate with the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to meet this requirement. The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities shall establish regulations to ensure the implementation of this standard.
