Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 5, in line 95, by striking out the words “and (vii) the telephone helpline operated by the bureau of substance addiction services established in section 18 of chapter 17” and inserting in place thereof the words “(vii) the telephone helpline operated by the bureau of substance addiction services established in section 18 of chapter 17; and (viii) risks for unintended overdose associated with prescription opioid use, specifically mixing any opioid with respiratory depressants such as such as alcohol or benzodiazepines and stimulants, a history of an overdose, changes in personal tolerance levels and risk reduction measures to prevent, respond to and reverse an opioid overdose”.
