Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line 44, by striking out the words “and (vi) opioid antagonists, overdose prevention treatments and information to advise patients on both the use of and ways to access opioid antagonists and overdose prevention treatments” and inserting in place thereof the words “(vi) opioid antagonists, overdose prevention and reversal treatments and information to advise patients on both the use of and ways to access opioid antagonists and overdose prevention treatments; and (vii) risks for unintended overdose associated with prescription opioid use, specifically mixing any opioid with respiratory depressants such as alcohol or benzodiazepines and stimulants, a history of an overdose, changes in personal tolerance levels and risk reduction measures to prevent, respond to and reverse an opioid overdose”.
