Amendment #135 to H4789

Dredging the Ten Mile River

Mr. Scanlon of North Attleborough moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7002-8061, by adding the following:-

“; provided further, that not less than $4,725,000 shall be expended for the project of dredging the Ten Mile River”; and in said item by striking out, in line 114, the sum “$400,000,000” and inserting in place thereof “$404,725,000”;

and by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX.   (a) Item 1100-2516 of Section 2 of Chapter 140 of the Acts of 2022 is hereby amended by striking out the words, in lines 219 to 221, “not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the construction of a playground at Amvet Boulevard elementary school in the town of North Attleborough” and inserting in place thereof the following words: “not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the project of dredging the Ten Mile River”;

(b) Item 1100-2516 of Section 2 of Chapter 140 of the Acts of 2022 is hereby amended by striking out the words, in lines 221 to 223, “not less than $125,000 shall be expended for ADA compliant accessibility upgrades to the Mason Field House in the town of North Attleborough” and inserting in place thereof the following words: “not less than $125,000 shall be expended for the project of dredging the Ten Mile River”.
