Amendment #149 to H4789

Work Start Time

Ms. Ferguson of Holden moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:- 

Section X. Section 66 of Chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the words “6:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m.” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“4:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m., provided, however, that a child only be scheduled to begin work at 4:00 a.m. if the child’s previous shift ended no later than 8:00 p.m. on the preceding the day.”
