Amendment #181 to H4789

Prepaid Wireless Surcharges

Mr. Arciero of Westford moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section at the end thereof:-

SECTION XXX

SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of section 18H of chapter 6A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the seventh sentence and inserting in place thereof the following new sentence:

The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to prepaid wireless service as defined in section 18A.
