Amendment #282 to H4789

I-495 Corridor/MetroWest Region Transportation Study

Representatives Hogan of Stow and Peisch of Wellesley move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7002-8061, by inserting at the end thereof the following:-

 

"provided further, that not less than $750,000 shall be expended to the Office of Transportation Planning to conduct a land use and transportation study of the I-495 Corridor and MetroWest Region of the Commonwealth as recommended by the 2018 495/MetroWest Suburban Edge Community Commission. This study should include, but not be limited to, reviewing the current conditions of regional transportation in the region, establishing the future regional transportation, housing, and economic development priorities, making recommendations to improve the region's residents' and workers' mobility, and connecting the region’s major transit routes"
