Amendment #412 to H4789

Springfield Museums

Representatives Ashe of Longmeadow and González of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 0640-0308, by adding the following: “provided further that not less than $100,000 be expended to the Springfield Museums for renovations needed for the childhood home/garage of Dr Seuss. Known as "Ted's House", this needed restoration will secure this garage/house as a historic and innovative education space, fostering bilingual literacy”, and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$50,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$50,100,000”.
