Project Labor Agreement Diversity

Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 153 by adding the following: “The department of labor standards shall promulgate regulations to increase diversity of contractors in project labor agreements, including, but not limited to, a minimum percentage of contracts to be made with minority-owned businesses and requirements that the workforce reflect the demographics, to the greatest extent possible, of the municipality in which a project is taking place.”.
