DESE/MA Farm to School Correction

Mr. Schmid of Westport moves to amend the bill Amends the bill by inserting after section 48 the following section:

SECTION 48A. Item 1599-6088 of section 2A of chapter 268 of the acts of 2022 is hereby amended by striking out the following: “provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the department of elementary and secondary education to aid in the disbursement of federal funds for the Local Food for Schools Program” and inserting in place thereof the following: “provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to Massachusetts Farm to School for the disbursement of federal funds for the Local Food for Schools Program”.
