Right Whale and Environmental Police Patrols

Messrs. Tarr, Moore and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, by inserting the following line item:-

"2030-1000.  $125,000 shall be expended for the protection of right whales by increasing the patrols of the office and its officers’ ability to identify and remove abandoned fishing gear and to enhance their ability to enforce speed restrictions to minimize potentially harmful interactions between vessels and right whales...$125,000".
