Retroactively Raising the Estate Tax Threshold

Mr. O'Connor moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 29, in paragraph G, by striking the existing language and adding the following:- “The estates of decedents dying on or after June 30, 2021, shall not be required to pay any tax under subsections (a) and (b) if the value of the federal taxable estate is not more than $3,000,000.”
