Comprehensive Guide

Messrs. Tarr and O'Connor move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section __ the following new section:--

"SECTION_. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Department of Early Education and Care shall develop a comprehensive guide to financial assistance for child care in the Commonwealth, provided that such guide shall account for geographic differences and all other relevant factors, and shall clearly list and describe eligibility criteria. Said guide shall be distributed in print to public libraries, daycare facilities, and other appropriate locations, and shall be posted conspicuously by electronic means in a manner accessible to the public."
