Ensuring Consideration of Rural Areas

Ms. Comerford and Messrs. Oliveira and Cyr move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 7, by inserting after the word requirements.”, in line 105, the following sentence:- “In making its recommendations, the commission shall consider the needs and capabilities of early education and care providers located in rural areas.”; and

In section 13, by inserting after the word “in”, in line 393, the following words:- “rural areas or”.
