Prioritizing host communities for state grants

Messrs. Velis, Keenan and Moore move that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following section:-

"SECTION XX. The executive office for administration and finance, the executive office of economic development, the executive office of education, the executive office of energy and environmental affairs, the executive office of health and human services, the executive office of housing and livable communities, the executive office of labor and workforce development, the executive office of public safety and security, the department of transportation, the executive office of technology services and security, and the executive office of veterans services, shall promulgate regulations to prioritize municipalities with emergency shelter sites, and organizations within those municipalities, when considering applications for any financial grant programs operated by the department and executive offices. A list of all financial grant programs where municipalities with emergency shelters will receive priority consideration shall be made publicly available on the Governor’s Community Grant Finder website."
