Relative to Migrant Hosting Communities with Lost Occupancy Tax Revenue

Messrs. Timilty, Tarr and Moore move that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX. Section 3A of Chapter 337 of the acts of 2018 as so appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “The commissioner shall make available to a city or town requesting such information the total amount of room occupancy tax collected in the preceding fiscal year in the city or town requesting the information.” and inserting in place thereof the following text:- “The commissioner shall make available to a city or town requesting such information the total amount of room occupancy tax collected in the preceding fiscal quarter in the city or town requesting the information.”
