Financial Impacts on the Commonwealth and Municipalities

Mr. Keenan moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 11, by striking lines 156-157, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- "The study shall include, but not be limited to: (i) examining the financial impacts, ways of mitigating these impacts, sustainability of response efforts and the emergency housing assistance program on both the commonwealth as a whole as well as on municipalities that provide supportive services and placements for immigrants, refugees and homeless individuals and families seeking housing support or shelter; (ii) identifying".
