Restoration of Communication Access Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Ms. Lovely and Mr. O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, by inserting after item XXXX-XXXX, the following item:-

"XXXX-XXXX Provided further, that $550,000 shall be expended for the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) for initiatives including but not limited to: expansion of the pool of qualified sign language interpreters for state and local government press conferences, and support recruitment, training, and hands-on field experience and mentorship opportunities for new interpreters......$550,0000"
