Commonwealth’s 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution

Messrs. Barrett, Tarr, Mark and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the costs of planning and celebrating the commonwealth’s 250th anniversary of the American Revolution”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$1,100,000”.
