Savings Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership Program

Messrs. Crighton, Cronin, Rush, Moore, Oliveira, Brady, Mark and Barrett, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Gomez, Ms. Moran, Messrs. Eldridge and Feeney, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. Timilty, Cyr, Montigny, Velis, Pacheco and Collins, Ms. Lovely and Ms. Creem moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7004-0107, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for the Saving Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership program administered by the Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance, Inc. to provide assistance for first-generation homebuyers”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$600,000.”
