Free Period

Messrs. O'Connor and Mark, Ms. Edwards, Messrs. Fattman, Payano and Feeney, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. Cronin and Crighton, Ms. Lovely and Ms. Jehlen moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding the following:- “provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to St. John the Evangelist Church in the town of Hingham to support the program known as Free Period to provide free feminine hygiene products to those in need;” and

by striking out the figure “$1,250,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$1,750,000”.
