Physician Licensure Process in Gateway Cities

Messrs. Gomez, Oliveira and Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following section:-

Section XX. In order to ensure that those living in Gateway Municipalities have equitable access to health care, the Board of Registration in Medicine shall develop an expedited physician licensing process for physicians applying for a license to practice medicine in a Gateway Municipality as defined in M.G.L Chapter 234, Section 3A.
