Ms. Creem, Messrs. Eldridge, Crighton, Lewis and Tarr, Ms. Rausch, Ms. Gobi, Messrs. Brady, Pacheco, Gomez and Payano, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Edwards, Messrs. Keenan, O'Connor, Collins, Feeney, Oliveira, Kennedy, Montigny, Velis, Moore, Rush and Timilty, Ms. Jehlen, Mr. Mark, Ms. Moran, Mr. Cronin and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4110-1000, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to hire additional social workers, rehabilitation teachers and orientation and mobility instructors at the Massachusetts commission for the blind”; and by striking out the figure “$7,935,416" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$8,185,416”.
