MassHealth Nursing Home Supplemental Rates

Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Montigny and Brady and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0641, by inserting after the words “section 622 of chapter 151 of the acts of 1996", the following:words:- "; and, provided further, that nursing homes that receive said supplemental rates shall submit consolidated financial statements to the Center for Health Information and Analysis, including reports of related third-party vendors such as for rental agreements, management contract, purchase of goods and services certifying that such prices paid by the nursing home does not exceed the amount a prudent and cost-conscious buyer would pay for comparable services, facilities or supplies that could be purchased elsewhere."
