Amendment #1048 to H4000

Justice 4 Housing, Inc.

Mrs. Fluker-Reid of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in line item 7004-9034, by inserting after the word “security” the following: “; provided further, that not less than $750,000 shall be expended for Justice 4 Housing, Inc., including $450,000 for transitional reentry homes in Boston that provide housing and wraparound services for individuals returning from incarceration, and $300,000 for the SHARP program in Cambridge, which provides case management, life skills, and housing stabilization services for formerly incarcerated individuals”; and by striking out the figures “$3,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$3,750,000.”
