Merrimack River Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction

Ms. Nguyen of Andover moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 2200-0100, by inserting after “Laws” the following words: “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the Merrimack River Watershed Council, Inc. for robust water quality testing of the Merrimack River, including procurement, installation, operation and maintenance of monitoring devices; provided further that the expenditure of these funds be contingent on receipt of matching funds of not less than 25 per cent”
