Prison Mitigation

Mr. Vaughn of Wrentham moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 8900-0001, by inserting the following:-“provided further, that the department shall expend not less than $3,500,000 for the ten municipalities hosting department of correction facilities; provided further, that each of the ten municipalities hosting a department of correction facility’s share of the total $3,500,000 shall be divided equally per inmate, to be determined at the start of each fiscal year.

; and in said item by striking out the following figures $815,508,325 and inserting in place thereof the figures $819,008,325
