Amendment #1216 to H4000
Ensuring Adequate Human Service Wages
Mr. Finn of West Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1599-6903, by adding the following: “provided further, that when establishing rates and setting salary benchmarks for community-based human services programs, EOHHS shall use no less than the 63rd percentile of the most recently available Bureau of Labor Statistics state-specific data for Massachusetts”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$207,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$307,000,000”.
