Amendment #1250 to H4000

Residential Treatment for Children and Adolescents

Representatives Decker of Cambridge and Domb of Amherst move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5042-5000, in lines 14 to 16, inclusive, by striking the following words:- “provided further, that not less than $9,800,000 shall be expended for an intensive residential treatment program" and inserting in place thereof the following: "provided further, that not less than $9,800,000 shall be expended to maintain contracts for the intensive residential treatment programs operated by NFI Massachusetts, Inc. and the clinically intensive residential treatment program operated by Cutchins Programs for Children and Families, Inc".

and to further amend said section 2, in item 5095-0015, in line 11, by inserting after "inpatient care;" the following:-“provided further, that not less than $5,500,000 shall be expended to maintain contracts for intensive residential treatment program and clinically intensive residential treatment program beds in the department’s system operated by NFI Massachusetts, Inc. and Cutchins Programs for Children and Families, Inc"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$376,149,057" and inserting in place thereof the figures "381,649,057".
