Amendment #1387 to H4000

SBCHC Matching Grant

Mr. Biele of Boston moves to amend the bill by inserting the following section:

SECTION XX. Chapter 214 of the Acts of 2024 is amended in section 3 by adding at the end thereof the following:

“provided further, that a Federal Department of Health and Human Services Award made through the Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Primary Care Health to a federally qualified community health center in South Boston shall be matched by no less than $2,000,000 by said Commonwealth Federal Matching and Debt Reduction Fund”;

and further amends in section 3 of said Chapter 214 by adding after the words “or agencies related to such federal programs” the following:

“including the Health Resources and Services Administration”.
