Amendment #1397 to H4000
Establishing a Working Group on the Future Use of the Bay State Temporary Respite Center
Mr. Vaughn of Wrentham moves to amend the bill in section 2 by adding the following section:
"Section XXXX. SECTION 2. The working group shall consist of a Representative who represents a town that hosts a temporary respite shelter, appointed by the House Minority Leader; a Senator who represents a town that hosts a temporary respite shelter, appointed by the Senate President; a Town Administrator or manager for a town that hosts a temporary respite shelter, appointed by the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Municipal Association; a Select Board member for a town that hosts a temporary respite center, appointed by the Speaker of the House; and a School Committee member for a town that hosts a temporary respite center, appointed by the Senate Minority Leader.
SECTION 3. The working group shall submit its report, along with any recommendations, one year from the passage of this act."
