Income Tax Exemptions

Mr. Boldyga of Southwick moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX. Notwithstanding any laws to the contrary, Section 5 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:

(C) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, no tax shall be imposed under this chapter upon any individual under the age of 21 years and over the age of 70 years.
