Amendment #1617 to H4000

Designating a certain park the "Richard Honan Veterans Park"

Mr. Turco of Winthrop moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 83 the following section:

"SECTION XXXX. The park located on Winthrop Shore Drive and Crest Avenue in the city known as the Town of Winthrop shall be designated and known as the Richard Honan Veterans Park" in honor of Richard Honan and his fellow Veterans for their service in the Vietnam War and their service to the town of Winthrop. The Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the division and after consultation with the American Legion Post in Winthrop.
