Amendment #1628 to H4000

Women's Heritage Trail

Mr. Livingstone of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section X, in item XXXX-XXXX, by inserting the following:

“;provided further that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the Women’s Heritage Trail for the purpose of honoring the Black women buried in unmarked, communal graves from the Home for Aged Colored Women by uncovering their names, sharing their stories, and creating a proper memorial, and for the organization’s preparations for Boston’s 400th anniversary in 2030”
