Amendment #1650 to H4000

Electronic Medical Records at the DOC

Ms. Sabadosa of Northampton moves to amend the bill in section 2 in item 8900-0001 by adding the following: “provided further that not less than $500,0000 shall be expended for the Department of Corrections to develop, in conjunction with the Department of Health and Human Services, electronic medical records for all persons in its care and custody, accessible to incarcerated individuals on state-issued tablets during their incarceration and available to them upon their release from incarceration, an electronic system for sick slip submissions and appointment requests, and all necessary infrastructure upgrades” and in said item by striking out the figure "$815,508,325" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$816,008,325".
