Wave Attenuation Device Pilot Program for Shoreline and Marine Infrastructure Protection

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill in section 2000-7100, by adding the following language:

"Provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for a Wave Attenuation Device Pilot Program to support the development, installation, and evaluation of wave attenuation structures or systems designed to reduce the energy and impact of waves in coastal and marine environments, with the goal of protecting shorelines, harbors, and infrastructure from erosion, flooding, and storm damage."
