Amendment #234 to H4000

Support for The South Shore Peer Recovery Center

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill in section 4512-0200, by adding the following language:

"Provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for The South Shore Peer Recovery Center to run programs dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, including but not limited to peer support groups, recovery coaching, family education, and community outreach services."
