Amendment #296 to H4000

Neighbors In Need

Mr. Paulino of Methuen moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2511-0107, by adding the following:

“; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for Neighbors In Need, Inc. to expand its food and diaper distribution programs serving low-income families in the Merrimack Valley, including Lawrence, Methuen, Andover, and North Andover. Funds shall support the purchase and delivery of nutritious food and essential baby care supplies to address material hardship and improve the health and stability of families with young children.” and in said item, by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$150,000.”
