Amendment #570 to H4000

Extending the Requirements of the MBTA Communities Act to All Cities and Towns

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Muradian of Grafton, Vieira of Falmouth and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XXXX. Section 1A of Chapter 40A of the General laws, as appearing in the 2022 official edition, is hereby amended by striking the definition of “MBTA community” and inserting in place thereof the following:

“MBTA community”, any city or town that is located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts”
