Congressionally Chartered Veterans Service Organizations Building, Maintenance, and Upgrade Grants

Mr. McGonagle of Everett moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1410-0010 by inserting after the words “such transfer” the following:

provided, that revenues generated under section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws through the purchase of license plates with the designation VETERAN by eligible veterans of the Commonwealth, after compensating the Registry of Motor Vehicles for the costs associated with the license plates, shall be placed in a special trust fund subject to the control of the secretary of veterans’ services for sole purpose of providing building, maintenance, and upgrade grants for Congressionally Chartered Veterans Service Organizations.
